Welcome to Kasuku Children’s Center!
Founded in 2008, our journey began with a simple dream—to provide education and opportunities for youth dropouts. However, through a deep understanding of our community’s needs, we realized that many children were unable to attend school due to financial barriers. With the support of friends and local efforts, we purchased land and built the foundation of what is now a beacon of hope for the children of Nakawuka and surrounding areas.
At Kasuku, we are committed to transforming the lives of children and youth by providing access to quality education, inclusive learning programs, and a supportive environment where every child can thrive. Our school, which serves children from Kindergarten to Grade 3, is the only one of its kind in the area, offering not only educational programs aligned with the Ugandan curriculum but also enriching extracurricular activities, with a special focus on sports and community engagement.
We understand that education goes beyond the classroom. That’s why we are dedicated to advocating for the rights and protection of children in our community, working with local government and NGOs to ensure policies are in place that support children’s education, safety, and future.
Equally important, we recognize the vital role of parents and families in a child’s success. Kasuku works closely with families—especially teen parents—by providing resources, workshops, and a strong network of support to ensure that both children and their families have the tools to succeed.
Our mission is to empower children, youth, and their families, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to build a brighter, more sustainable future. We invite you to join us on this journey as we continue to create opportunities, inspire hope, and shape the next generation of lifelong learners.
Together, we can make a lasting impact on the future of our community!
